The story behind HELWIT
HELWIT comes from Yoik, a company based in Gransholm, near Växjö in Småland. Yoik launched HELWIT in Sweden in 2021 and makes the pouches in its own factory in Gransholm. In September 2026, Imperial Brands announced that it had acquired all shares in Yoik Group AB, the company behind HELWIT.
What is in a HELWIT pouch?
According to HELWIT, the pouches contain fillers, humectants, water, nicotine, acidity regulators, salts, flavourings and sweeteners. The nicotine is extracted from the tobacco leaf, and the pouches contain no tobacco.
